NPD help

Hey guys. Drove by NPD this morning to have a look at the place and it looked great but I couldn't figure out how to get down to the water. I was at the lookout of Vores Road. Parked at the picnic area and that whole are was fenced up with a no entry sign every 25m of the fence. How and where do u guys fish? Thanks

If it was the main picnic area, walk to the far western end of it, and there is a locked gate, with a \"walk through\" style next to it. Ahic. No wonder. How far is the walk to the water?

Almost straight down the hill. Say 5 minutes easy walk from where you park the car.

Kewl. Will check it out next week. What kind of bait do u guys use? Is mullet fillets good?

only two baits will catch u fish seriously and they r live shrimp and earthworm. i think u'd better get some slugs or VIBs to insure a catch

Slugs are chrome metal lures, you might do allright on spinnerbaits as well.

slugs r just a piece of metal, usually 10-20grms for bass fishing.

Kewl I do have 2 slugs. Also 2 g-vibes, a sprog and a scorpion 35

Just going to mention - I caught a bass on a prawn out there yesterday. Bit strange I thought, but don't discount the prawn :cheer:

no banana prawns. get the smallest freshest prawns available!!!
