Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. Long time stalker of the forums. Recently moved to Manly Bayside about a year ago and have spent most my time land based fishing. Just recently purchased a little fiberglass half cabin so will be doing more exploring out in the bay. Fished harrys and just off Green island so far, looking for any tips and even the odd fishing mate to come out every now and again as i do shift work. Look forward to hearing from everyone .. and tight lines

Hey thank you neighbor, definitely not cheap but compared to the madness of Sydney, seemed like the best option.

Welcome to the site mate. Heaps and heaps and heaps of info on this site if you use the Search function - just type in the species or location you are after and away you go. Can obviously also chuck questions up to see what answers you get.

Mate like Drop Bear i live in wynnum.

From about Aus day next year squid will be a good target in the bay around green and even in Manly harbor if you want a stroll.

The flats at lota can be fun for whiting as well.

Keen to try some top water lures along the front at high tide too. I have caught plenty of bream, whiting and mullet at night at Pandanus beach. Lots of people target squid on the rockwalls on the incoming tide at night with a head torch. But like @Angus said some of the best sessions have been at green for squid.
