VHR radio no good

Just found out my VHF is no good anymore. Can anyone reccommend what brand and type to fit in my boat? Is for offshore to go into an 18ft.

I have a GME, haven't had it for long but is pretty solidly built and seems to do the job alright.

Its bout ten years old. Hardly have used our boat off shore so havnt used it. But its time to hit the offshore.
