How good is this rain? I love it! Is everyone getting wet around brisbane, and more importantly, does anyone know if the rain is going to the catchment areas?

I hope so.

I have buckets out colecting so i can use them for cleaning boat when i take it out next! Keep it coming i say.:laugh:

The catchments did get some but as usualy not as much as the non-catchment areas.

But rain is rain.

Someone told me that it flushes all of the crap out of the river, so the mullet can travel up through the creeks to spawn. A good rain means alot more mullet and when theres alot more mullet theres alot more sharks.

Dave that may be tru but usually it just mucks up the river and washes garbage like cigarette butts and crap like that in, thats all that happens when I fish the river after rain. Dont get me wrong im loving this weather!

there not called ciggerette buts, there called woodridge halfs. but what i might washing out, they wash out all ofthe wunken trees and crap, thus making it easier to get up the creeks and stuff.
