Newstead Boat Ramp

I want to put the boat into the water at the Newstead Boat Ramp and was wondering what it was like for high and low tide, parking and access

it can get a bit slippery on a low and if its a low low theres a drop at the end but theres not many that dont it can get pretty shallow there sometimes

If your worried, just go upstream a little in the creek to the ramp opposite Whitworths, good looking ramp, lots of parking. Would not be much more than 500m upstream I'd reckon.

like faulked said, the ramp ends and drops off, i've had my trailer wheels over the end in the past at low tide, the trusty old hilux got it up and out tho. i use the other ramp on sandgate rd to access brekky creek now, its opposite whitworths near the chrysler jeep caryard.

I ended up at Hemmant Boat Ramp on Friday night and considering what I caught I should have gone to Breakfast creek. The one on Sandgate Road didn't show up when I did my search and I will try that one next time. I will use it in daylight for my first time though.
