So I have about $25/$30 worth of bloodworms left over from last night's whiting session.

If anyone could use them and pick them up before tomorrow arvo, consider them yours. Just let me know.

Failing the giveaway, I'm going to try salting them to try them next time. Would this work ? Would the whiting still eat them ? @Daryl McPhee, have you tried this ?

I was thinking to salt them I would just dry them on a towel and then cover them in salt, give them a shake about, then store them in the fridge. I have no clue what I'm doing and just made that up, does it seem a legit method ?

@ellicat preserved worms are better than nothing for whiting. The link to preserving them looks okay but I personally wouldn't add the tuna oil unless you wanted to use them for bream.

It's all knowledge for next time as I had a fail and got to them too late. Gee, it doesn't take long for them to go to stink stage. Had them on ice too.

Blast! That's annoying. I would think salting worms would be like salting any other bait, if that helps at all.

Looks like it might have to be a thing you do immediately after use.
