queensland Lake K Exercise Day

As the diabetes blood control is out of wack I thought a little trip to Lake K in the yak was in order.Well by the time I found a few fish the body was worn out and it was time to head home. I managed to find a few bass, all was over 40cm with the biggest going 43cm,they were all nice wide bass like the ones up at Lake Baroon. I cast my arms off for no results and finaly put on an old flickershad that used to work years a go trolling.Got to a dozen and just had enough fuel in the body to get back to the car. Forgot to save some energy for loading and unloading the yak when I got home, had to have a poppy nap first Staying alive at 75

Might have to get one of those sails for the yak to get you home.

I often have a nap before unpacking the boat, so you're not alone there.

I have just got myself a garmin sounder for the hobie yak, only trouble is the cover for the sounder sits about 4cm below yak. So when loading I have to lift the yak over 3 roofraks, which is not easy when standing on the ground or balancing on a small step ladder. (when you get older ) I will also have to remember not to come into the bank to fast or to shallow.

Forgive my ignorance, is that kurwongbah? Havnt been there since npd allowed kayaks, but if it is hows the coomboombah weed going in there?

Weed is still thick in places and yes its kurwongbah, when you can locate the bass its an OK dam.
