putting a sticker on a hobie??

hey i bought a AFO sticker from angus yesterday and he said they would stick to my hobie but i was just wondering should i rub down the area with fine sandpaper first or something similar.

i put a measuring sticker on my yak and its doing alright but i just want to make sure when i put it on it will handle slat water etc etc and not come off.

now i need to go stock up for mytrip to moretan next week. \"hello tackleworld\"

mate just give it a good clean with metho let it dry then apply. sanding will just give you less surface area to stick to

Hopefulyl Jimmybob will put his two cents in here as he has actually done it on a Hobie. But from what i have seen it does not look like he has sand papered it.

The important think to remember is just to clean the spot. I have seen people try and put stickers on dirty cars and boats and they come right off as the dirt takes up all the sticky part as opposed to the vehicles surface area.

When i had my kayak i just put them on and if they started to come off i superglued em.
