Biggest Fish from Brisbane River

What's everyone's biggest fish from the Brisbane River/creeks? Would love to hear of some cool captures as I won't be fishing for a while!

Never caught anything from Brisbane River.  Even if I had very much doubt it would beat your Thready!  Why not fishing for a while - weather or school?

Both - school is starting to get busy and with this rain and minor water releases from Wivenhoe Dam recently I think conditions would be pretty average for a while.

Not really… west end actually.

Several 2m + bull sharks, biggest other fish was a 70cm flathead caught all the way up near Ipswich in the freshwater of all places. 

But that was all back around 2000-2003, well before the floods. 

The last time I was there around 2012 or so I couldn't recognise any of it any more.

Biggest is a 45cm dog :(. Keen to go out and try get a monster threadfin or jew on bait like yours mate but need a new rig first - the ultralight set up probably wouldnt work out too well

Mine would probably a 95cm thready or a massive 185cm pike eel
