A couple of cod.

I had a good afternoon on the cod yesterday, within an hour I managed to pull not one but two cod out of the Murray. 

The 1st was just a little under sized at 50cm, but the 2nd was a, nice keeper at 62cm.

I also got 4 yellow belly, but they were only around the 35cm mark. 

All were caught on the McGrath lures vibes, which are fast becoming my favourite lures, equally good at catching red fin, trout, yellow belly and cod.

Actually no they don't, 30 seconds of hard fighting and then they are just a heavy pulling weight. 

 

On the bright side I pulled 3 in this afternoon. The 1st was only a little 40cm one, but I got two other nice keepers. 

The 1st is a nice 62cm specimen. 

The 2nd a fat 58cm one.

ive caught a few on topwater cicadas, they fought quite good
