New to the site looking for fishing mates.

Just moved back to the Gold coast after living abroad for 7 years. Keen fisherman from childhood and getting back Into the Goldie canals has been great. But all my mates who were once avid fisherman have moved on and just wondering if anyone is ever keen to wet a line. Have a decent fishing kayak set up if anyone wants a kayaking buddy.

Welcome to the forum and back to Aus.

Can't help you with the kayak as I live in NQ and don't do yak fishing but you'll run into 

someone who'll be interested.

 Ask/put a notice in your local tackle shop, join local fishing club.

There's a couple of yakers on here that'll probably read this and give

some tips to help you.

If you did kayak fishing up here you'd need to do a first aid course first

so you could sew up all the croc bites. It wouldn't even cross my mind.

I am still alive. I can assure you however, that there are a number of times in my life when I have been reminded of my place. My a#$hole has contorted over, in, out and around itself (uncomfortable!), In my younger years. Edmond Kennedy national park just north of Cardwell comes to mind

Yeah, that was a spooky place, wouldn't like to be lost there at dark time.

Be climbing up a tree ( snake sleeping on the next branch ) and tying myself to

a branch so I'd have 2 hands free to swipe at mozzies all night.
