queensland Stanley River today

The weather here looks great today sunny blue skys and little to no wind, So im thinking about heading out to the stanley maybe later this afternoon, anybody interested in joining me?

Its going to be running pretty hard I'd reckon - be careful! But the yella's should be on the chew.

Actually the water temp and air temp and a good run at this time of year would mean they would spawn out west, I wonder if they will in the Stanley?

I've got some shopping to do today But we might hit schultz or Nudgee later if the weather is ok.

So in other words maybe next time.

Lee: Good luck mate. I saw some film of it on the news last night or the night before. Its running quite fast and it a much more full than a couple of weeks ago.

lee, if ur not wearing shoes where we did FW fishing, shultz canal's way better than that. not as nasty as most ppl say

went out around 3pm, the water level is up around 2M from when i was there last. fishing was impossible with the water running like rapids

They reckon it will be flowing fairly hard for a week or 2 thankfully its running straight into somerset just went to the SEQ water website and somerset is now 50.85% full

yeah I just had a look at that graph!:woohoo: It's a pitty it is only updated every 3 months as it would be great to have a look in two weeks time!:cheer:
