Storage of castnets

I know this topic has been going around lately but I have heard that there is a proper way to store cast nets.And they aren't cheap so I want my one to last me years. The way I heard was to hang it up when not in use to dry, this also helps keep its shape. I know your meant to wash it with fresh water. But really I wanna hear from the people on brc because I know many of you use them heaps.

I don't know any way to properly store them, but we've had ours for a while now and all we've done is leave it in the bucket it came with. But sure when we catck a heap of slimey things, we put it out on the lawn to dry out for a while. The only thing that wrecks it is if you cast it onto rocks:(

ye i know what u mean about rocks...i got snaged on something which i think was a rock but i wasnt sure and got a huge hole ripped in it...so i used my initiative and mended it bck together with fishing line.
