Top Water Lures For AFO

Hey guys.

Two question's,

Would there be much interest in larger topwater lures like these?

Also these retail at about $17.50.

If so (calling 1, 2, 3, 5, etc from top to bottom) what colours would you find desirable?

What length are they? Look around 15cm to me. Barra size.

hi All

the arowana is 13cm long. take off the hooks and you have a baby rattle :laugh: (its that loud)

i have an updated colour chart that i received yesterday and i will pass onto angus to put up.

it has a big set of trebles (mustards again)

It also has a hole that goes straight through the head and that allows it to spit water on when walking the dog.

Funny you say that Jeff.

The type of lure is called an Arowana. In South East Asaia Arowana are an aquarium fish which look essentially identical to a Saratoga.

Not an additon yet Chubby! But maybe. The larger stuff seems less popular than the more "bream" size lures.

Yeah but like most top water lures, the fish will only see the bottom of the lures! (Unless its a flying fish!)

Yeah the japanese love the Arowana, supposed to be top shelf feng shui. They're in the same general fish family as the saratoga. Beautiful fish.

I saw a Gold leaf arowana at the fancy asian aquariam at Darra for several thousand dollars ( I remember it being $20k, but my brain refuses to believe it's memory ).

If there's something like that around 40mm I'd be interested. Even a 60-80mm variety for Jacks would be great.
