queensland Obi Obi Crk and NPD

Went for a drive on Mon up to Maleny, then down to Kenilworth and just outside town took a right turn onto the Mapleton road which follows the Obi Obi creek. Had a cast at bridge 2 and 4, no good at 2 but got lucky at 4. Put a cast in under the bridge in the shade and got tapped twice , so cast back in the same spot and half way back up Ihooked up to a 38cm bass on a s/bait. The fish had a sore on the top fin and one on the bottom fin. A few more casts but no hookups.

Wed hit NPD for a quick session before the sun got to hot, managed to nab 5 bass and the neighbour got 3. All were caught on s/baits mine on red/purple early and light purple about 7am, the neighbour got his 3 on white. Biggest bass was 47cm no pics as flat batteries.

Nice Dino, I have been down to obi obi there but didnt get anything might have to give it another crack since baroon has gone over big time. so with the sore you reckon he might have been a recent escapee? great stuff mate keep those bass reports coming
