hiya guys im comming or to you tomorrow from the UK was wondering if the reels i use over here would be any good in aus.ive 1 normal fresh water reel which i use for coarse fishing and have 2 shimano 8000 gte reels which i use for carp fishing loaded with 12lb line would these be any good for beach fishing or would i need to up the line b/s

also would they be ok for lure fishing line capacity is 250yds of 15lb line

was going to bring rods which are 3lb t/c but will struggle getting them there

Not familiar with the reels, but the line class should be ok for beach and surf fishing. Need a long rod to go with them.

No licences needed except for a few of the dams (best to explain how that works when you get here!). Rivers and ocean do not require a licence in Queensland.

the reels in question are similar to the diawa regals your selling

as long as the reels are sw ok then you can use them everywhere otherwise you will be limited to the fresh water dams/creeks
