I drive it till the light comes on then I put some more juice in and so on...

They pretty good on fuel for the power you get out of them,

i think from memory its about 12L to 100km but remember it is a boxer engine so if u floor it u hav got the power there.

id be guessing the economy would be more like 9litres to the 100 km according to a couple of websites i just checked

and on a good note to large people its very roomy for a small car im 120 kg 6ft tall and rub my head in most cars this size but im fine in this one and its good to throw a couple of rods in hey rocket

Also a great beach vehicle, chuck outback shocks on it and some All Terrain Tyres and she'll fly along the beach.

Wow the car sold faster than my reels. Congrats on the sale rod. I'm also looking for a vehicle with enough boot space for my fishing gear. Haha. So the imprezzas can go onto beaches?

Thanks Boon, they have fulltime allwheel drive and dual range.

The issue with beach work is clearance and tyres...a few mods like UN_T suggested and it would be more realistic.

The money has changed hands and the Impreza has left the building:( .

Can't argue with the resale value of Subaru's if this was any indication.

We paid $25k three years ago (49000km), $18k sold today.

That equates to 72%, not bad at all I reckon over 3 years.

Strong argument for going with the Forester for our next one.
