Had a few hours to spare while new motor being fitted to my stacer so I threw some soft plastics and Vaults and tt switchblades blades The toads loved the gulps and the oysters on the bridge pylon devoured my vaults and switchblades.

I was at the little park at the Thomas Street road bridge just downstream from the council chambers.

Pleasant morning but would have at least liked to have got a breambo.

Yeah, Gulps attract every toadfish for 100miles I reckon! They are brilliant at taking the tail off them with getting hooked.

yeah hate todies! nudge creek is the worst for them i reckon.. unlucky mate, i know how it feels to have a non eventfull and expensive lure sesh. I dont use gulp anymore, just use soft plastics like powerbaits mainly, work just as well when and are tougher and cheaper, and dont dry out and dont stink .
