Finaly caught a fish but the camera was busted so off I go over to Ray and Grahams place - Can rely an Ray - he's got a good camera.

Got to Ray's and noone home - that's right I remind myself - I saw their car back at the ramp. Oh well not a wasted trip I needed petol so off I go back out of Ray to the servo next door and pulling out of the park and into the servo I hear this big \"twang\".

What's that I thought? Check the rods - nope they are still there - must have been someone else. Nope again - I had the rods placed in an verticle rod holder and when leaving Ray's place I took a short cut under the trees and one of the lures got stuck in a tree with out me knowing and as I was driving away I was slowly spooling my rod until it ran out of braid. The \"twang\" must have been when the spool knot held and the 40lb braid snapped.

cost $45 worth of braid and $20 lure.

lesson here is to take the rods out of the rack before going under trees.
