Angus,

I think I might be needing you to sign a couple of these during the classic, got a problem with that?

Because I have often done better than whats on the list, and reckon I can do it again at the Classic!

(You might notice Ray's barra from Awoonga was only about 10 kilo's over the listed national record!)

Not to mention some records only count when caught on specific gear etc. So although a 400kh hammer may have been caught, it might not be counted, or even submitted for acknowledgement.

Ill have a look at those forms Andrew but i dont think that would be a problem.

you will have a hard time claiming any ansa records unless you are a member and go through one hell of a rigmarole with line samples, double knots leader sizes and lengths,on and on, ad neauseum qld records are nearly as bad, you have to be a member of, the qld fishing clubs association, witnessed photographed on certified scales etc> i might still have some record application forms and coppies of last years records.i'll bring them on the weekend if i can find them.

I tell you what though Feral, maybe its something that could be looked at for next years comp. (I'm allready planning things I wanna do next year that I won't be able to this year;) )

It would be cool if someone caught a decent shark, say on 4 pound or something ridiculous, and then be able to claim a record:P

Cheers
