Hi Fello fisho's

Scanning through the beacon to beacon book and came across theses rocks just up stream from the green bridge near dutton park. Jumped on the pushie and scoped them out. They look pretty inpressive, virtually cut off a third of the river.

Saw someone land a grunter from the bank looked 40cm +/-

Has any tried there recently ?

Theres gotta be some jewie lurking around the eddies there for sure.

Back in the 1960s and 70s brother in law used to catch jewies there. Used to walk there from Buranda every Saturday afternoon.Got spotted once by photographer from Telegraph newspaper and got a small story and a photo of a 45pounder that he had caught and was carrying back over his shoulder.Bait either cooked prawns or mullet flesh.

Cheers
