As the dam has been a bit slow of late,I have been having a cast in the salt. Well not in the wild blue yonder but down at Shorncliffe in cabbage tree creek not far from the new jetty. Been hooking a few flathead on plastics, got 2x40cm models the 1st session, then wed show holiday took the youngest son and his family down for a fish and his 2 girls were giving me a hard time as one had caught 3 little fish and the other had got 2 and at that stage poppy was on nill, but as the tide started to move I picked up a 60cm and a 40cm, yesterday I got a 40 and a 25cm, I was starting to sing that song I am stuck on two. Today I got past the 2 and made it to 4 landing a 50,51,53 and a 30. I caught most on bloodworm squidgy fish and some on gulp shrimp nuc chicken. Here is todays pics. Its good to have a computer after over a week of nightmares from Telstra.
