some good plastics being suggested here. as for hardbodies i love my old rubber flopys for bass. and suprisingly chubbys dont seem to work too well in our local creek. wonder why this is?

Perhaps no active food source that really resembles a chubby... Although even though they have their preferences I dont see why that would matter as Bass will hit most things that swim regardless of colour and shape I have found. Certainly some work better than others but I have caught them on everything from home made lures to $30 Japanese ones. I have found chubby's super effective on creek and Impoundment Bass in Brisbane.

nah just in the saltwater for bream etc.. the bass in my creek will hit a ciggie butt thrown on a hook. although they do seem to prefer a sammy65 or jackal water moccasin
