Not this one again had trouble with this last time.

The pic Johnny posted is Parapercis nebulosa

The pic NickyG posted IMO is not, the identification key being the the black spot between the second and fith dorsal spines.

It is most likely a Pinguipedid genus Parapercis but species ?

May belong to a different family though, I gave up last time it was posted.

Agreed Steve. I'm not 100% certain on the species, but it's definitely that genus. I just base most of my ID's on Wildlife to Moreton Bay and they don't have every species possible, but they're usually close enough to get the genus correct.

But I am 100% certain it is not a Seargeant Baker. I've caught both, know what both are like. It just isn't...

We just generally call them Grubfish as there are a couple of different species of them found in the Bay.
