hey afoerss.

havent had time to post up my reports but am doing so today.

on tuesday night we headed up for coast for a flick land based. we went around palm beach area chasing trevs. ended up with two nice GT going around 45cm and 3 big eye and one XL pike. all the fish was caught on popper. my friend also got to try his new combo out. all up was a good arvo/night out.

People scoff all the time at trevs. To be completely honest, I have eaten a few at straddy. Eaten the day they are caught and bled properly. I reckon they are great!

I think there is a lot of hype about the eating qualities of certain "species" of fish. I think it has more to do with freshness. Obviously there are some fish that are just going to be rubbish, but I am talking generally.

On the flip, nothing worse then buying Barra or Red Emp which turns out to be terrible due to lack of freshness.

Anyway.
