hey all

me and a mate did our own tilapia cull to day at lake kurwongbah today we got 2 at 30cm and the rest of them were 20cm and smaller. we got 100 tilapia today.

Nice haul.

The bid ones do go hard.

Unfortunately, no amount of fishing pressure will diminish their numbers.

They simply breed to fast and from a fairly small size.

Good cull.

We saw thosands in the spill way dead today.

Sad thing is there were significant numbers of large bass and yellas there as well.

well i think me and my mate will hit the tilapia hard again this weekend we r going to try and catch for this go round.

on my wishlist for x'mas is some sort of contraption that traps tilipia but not other fish ... not very imaginative so if there's anyone out there that can invent one ... super ...

someone invented a trap for bull frogs ... excludes native frogs ... a devise so simple its genius ...
