It doesnt go. It has no spark but heaps of compression.

Coukd just be dirty points or dust etc around coil, I dont know as I am too lazy to fix it, It is around 50s model, has no gears , water cooled and I took the throttle lever off to use on my mower.

What you see is what you get. I dont think that it will cost much to fix as long as the coil is ok. I think if the coil is catcus you will have to get one from the uk where spare parts are available.

Get it going and you will have a real conversation piece.

I have asked feral to post some piccys later tonight or I can email them.

I will be down the coast from 10 am Friday till midday saturday.

This one has a modern water intake the earlier versions just had a scoop that the prop blew the water up through the block.

If you look at the photo it has a ring that goes right around it. This allows you to turn it 180 degrees for reversing but you cant alter the throttle.

It is the same as the old seagulls you either let it idle and keep position by spinning it around and alternating between foward and reverse or just turn it off and restart when ready.You have to remember that the brits were not very innovative about their outboards. They only built seagulls and anzanis and never progressed with their designs like the yanks. Probably something to do with their weather and not many people having boats.
