tried a bit of popper fishing on saturday afternoon and managed 20 something pikes....

come back on sunday afternoon and lost my popper in the 10+th cast....without a popper, i used a bass minnow running on the surface and got 10+ pikes, smaller then what's caught on poppers.

as well, i got a flattie like 47-48cm with another guy managed on around the same size....

huge amount of pike around manly....

so anyone planning a trip these days?

Your too right.

First time i fished Manly i got 1 moses perch and 8 pike on plastics. At the time is was the best plastics session i had had so i was happy

are there any jew around the rock wall? i might rig a smaller live pike on a heavier rod and keep playing with poppers on my 2-6lb rod.
