Flathead lures

ive been tring sx40s and a few other crawdad lures ive got and havnt had much sucess on them for flathead. what hardbodies do u reckon i should be using to get some decent flatties. cheers

Well, SX40's don't dive too deep so a fair bit of the time they might not have been hitting the bottom. I have caught loads of flatties on them however. I would use either an sx48 or and sx60. These are just bigger sx40s that dive deeper and are a few mm bigger. Also, have your tried sp's for them? They are often a better option because you can keep them in the strike zone for longer.

I use many Hard bodies, but my personal choice would have to be Eddy lures. (Pictured bottom 4)
