So just a quick report , bagged a few nice fish yesterday including 4 'pannies'.... so seeing though the girls in my house wont go near whole fish (with bones yewwwww) i thought id indulge in some finger lickin' action on my han solo today.

For anyone that has tried whole fried fish you'll know the exquisite texture and flavour of the flesh. If you've never given it a go, its worth the effort no doubt.

so start with the fresh business and lose a couple of fins

if fish dont have clear eyes and smell of the sea, leave it alone, simple.(this fish was less than 24 hours out of the water

get your wok,oil and thermo cranked up to 180c and cook for around 5 mins

employ my three best mates (the smallest jar is Shitake Mushroom chili relish, NOT for chilli wimps)

Fresh bean shoots, spring onion, steamed rice, lime or lemon an' get busy

tease the dog (not allowed chilli sorry)

show her the bones

I love preparing my fish whole, especially the larger fish. Where can I get a jar of that shiitake/chili relish? Your poor pooch, shes a quite.

Kaf- most Asian grocers will sell stuff like that.... It's awesome on BBQ chicken too

yes definitely eat cheeks, eyes, jaw and tongue.. bit small on this fish but on a big reefy that is the best meat IMO.

Head meat is by far the best on most fish IMO too Swersey. Poor little pooch looks so upset, talk about "puppy dog eyes"
