Flares

hi Guys,

OOPPS and ladies i should add, Last week i was lucky enough to do a Marinne Certificate of Safety Traing in Cairns for work and one of the many things i was able to do was set off flares.

For those who havent set them off before - One huge thing noticed was how hot the flares got when we set them off

So i have a suggestion :whistle: get a leather glove and keep it with your flares because it will save you from the possibility of a very nasty burn, cause if you will be using one for real who knows what can happen in a split second..

We got some new ones the other day and they have yellow plastic handles that i wouldn't have expected to get hot!? Did yours have the plastic handle bit, or was it just \"flare\" all the way down to where you were holding?
