well after 3 days of hiding with the fear of being blown away i headed down the river to catch a few fish. However, no-one told the fish. Caught two little bream on mullet strips, couldnt convince anything to eat any of my soft plastics... I did get two legal mud crabs... Saw Chris O out there as well today, heading in as i was heading out. Bit of a dismal day for the end of my holidays, but at least i was fishing!

cant complain about the muddies , thats awesome considering there ment to be off this month and with rain earlier, great stuff

mmm a few sad reports from there in the last week or so. As lozzel said the cold and rain probs haven't helped. Hopefully the bream at least will pick up again once the salinity returns to normal. A salmon or two would be nice as well:)

Hey Bullrout, were you down there today? I hit it up for some fishing in the arvo to test out my new soft plastics rigs. Wasn't expecting to catch anything ( and wasn't dissapointed! ) just wanted something wet to throw my SPs at.

There was a guy down there I said hi to who said he caught a couple of crabs the other day, so guessing it was you. I was the guy with the croaky voice on the beach just up from the family who's dad was scaring all the fish away by screaming at his kids all day. Obviously hasn't learned that fishing is to get away from the wife and kids
