Bretts wharf and Brekky creek

Hey guys, I always see people fishing at the mouth of Brekky Creek and Bretts wharf and i am thinking about giving it ago. Has anyone had any luck there???

people are always reporting on fishing around there lots of bream,squire,cod flatties you name it it sounds like a good spot but the best way is to know is throw a line in and give a go

Sounds gd. Iv heard that lures work better then bait there. Is that tru?

I dont know about that they both work well but if you know what your doing with either you will catch fish I personally would use plastics but it is your choice

the mouth of breakky creek used to give up a few nice jew in its day....i hear from a \"local\" that since they have really stopped dredging the river, that the jewies should really be coming back strong....live mullet, whole fresh squid..ya might be in with a chance....alas i must get down there to give it a go..

i've got a few tiny bream and a smallish pinky but nothing worth keeping. that was at cameron rocks on soft plastics.

Bretts and Brekky are great spots.

Brekky with plastics and small hard bodies should get you a few bream, cod and flatties.

Live bait also works really well at Brekky and Bretts with possible catches of threaddies. Also not bad spots to get sharks in summer.

P.S. If you dredge back through the Brisbane Rivers and Creeks reports there should be tonnes of reports from these locations.

I went inbetween the 2 today and caught a 16cm bream and a 9cm cod on prawns and a beatifull 47cm flatty on squid! had no luck with lures once again but the flatty tasted great

I'll be moving to Albion in a couple of weeks so I'll be keen to wet a line down at Brekky Creek. I like the look of that pontoon at the park.
