What Won't Bass Eat?

Well a recent post I put up prompted me to ask the question, 'What won't Bass eat?'

They are caught regularly on,

- Diving lures.

- Lipless Crankbaits.

- Spinnerbaits and Buzz Baits.

- Chatterbaits.

- Weedless Skirts.

- Soft Plastics rigged on rev heads, weedless and standard jigheads.

- Slugs.

- Ice Jigs.

- Tail Spinners.

- Topwater Poppers, Plugs, Fizzers and Soft Plastics.

- Dry Fly.

- Wet Fly.

- Live Baits.

- Dead Baits.

Does anyone else want to add to the list of what Bass will eat? The only thing I can think of that they don't is Marlin Skirts. But I'm positive if you got a 4inch skirt, used it on your spin gear and kept at it, you'll catch one. I'll edit and add to the list as people add things.

What Won't Bass Eat?

Answer:

Everything in my tackle box:dry:

Seriously, And correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me if your in the right spot they'll attack anything

I sometimes wonder if its really hunger or just territorial behaviour?

Maybe some of the guys catching cricket score bass could let us know if any lures are unsuccessful during these hot bites?

Kevin: Topwater Pencils and frogs would go under topwater lures.

Buzz baits would go under spinnebaits.

I guess chaterbaits could fall into a different category though.

bait jigs( those with 4-5 lures on a main line)

under spinners

blade spinners

swimbaits(1-2oz ones)

sometimes a finger flipping in the water....
