My new Hobie with PICS :) where 2 put the sounder

well i picked it up this afternoon, and it would defs say i am over the moon how good it is! :woohoo: _

it is an awesome looking yak, heaps of storage and space.. she goes 4.1m

One thing is, where / what should i do fish finder wise, i 100 percent want one so my opintions are..

Put the eagle fish finder ive got laying around ( small and old like my old fella) but does the job well.

Or get the transducer and fish finder holding bracket thingy ( so hold the actually fish finder) and just use my Hummingbird 525 with the yak and tinny. I think this is the go but would like to hear what you think

Looking good Runt I'll disagree with big head a little, for the fresh a sounder isn't really neccessary but for the bigger stuff I reckon it is almost as important as your fishing rods, even on a kayak. I like Mark's name, The Runt Punt, it's got a ring to it

Has to be a ram noi t mate, and best place was where I had mine on the outback leftmost right side either in a drink holder or a groove so when it's off and the yak is upside down on your roof it doesn't get in the way !! Sure you'll find some pics of whatno mean but ram mounts are the go, über flexible !!
