cant get gearbox off

hey guys i decided to give my outboard a service seeing as the boat will be back on the water soon

problem is i cant get the gearbox to separate from the leg, gear lever is disco, 4 bolts out,

there's nothing else holding it on but it wont budge

anyone got any ideas

Bit of boiling water around the join might help to loosen.

got the sucker.

seems all yamaha 30s aren't the same there was a 5th bolt under the plate the toe skeg is on

The best stuff we use at work is reductor spray and badly seized stuff might need a few goes over 2 days

all good,new impeller kit,new plugs,new gear oil all link points greased, service complete

everything back together and doing what it's supposed to

may just have to adjust the toe
