Ironic to hear the veterinarian/water scientist who did the original research, who's now on their payroll dodge the answer with generic dribble.

Even if there is links to the dredging and fish desease what should the state govt and gladstone port corps do stop the construction dead in its tracts now, once the work is done it should all settle and go back to normal this place has been the indutrial hub for decades and its better there than setting it up else where
