It was a great event and who knows next year I may even catch a fish. :blush:

Think most of the fish were hiding at the end of the rainbow.

The fish were holding in close to the shore in holes in the weed. Ted used one of his kids chair tied to a rope to clear in front of his spot and the LAFMA guys came around using rakes and also throwing out anchors to clear spots.

And I forgot to mention that biggest carp of the day was a touch over 4kg and caught by one of the juniors who competed. AAnd he spent a good part of the afternoon carrying it around with the biggest smile you have ever seen.

Hi Guys and Girls

Thanks for coming along and hope everyone had a good time.

Think the weather did scare a fw people off but as usual it was OK at the dam.

If you have any sugestions on what could have been better or what you did or did not like, please feel free to send me a PM so the Dam Working group can discuss at the next meeting.

It will be on again next year, a few tweaks here and there.

Was a very good comp all round, extra toilets, food and refreshments and great atmosphere. The only suggestion I can think of was to put a couple of bins out. A few random bits of rubbish managed to escape when the wind picked up in the afternoon.

Looks like a lot of fun. I take it powered boats are allowed on that dam which is good.
