queensland Dollies the saviour of many a trip 12-02-2014

Went out off Straddy through the south passage bar yesterday. We head straight out to the Wave Rider Buoy at the boys request. They are getting hooked on catching these fish. We ended up bagging out on better sized Dollies this time with the average being around 70cm and the biggest going 85cm. This time they where a lot meatier than last. This occupied about an hour of our time. We had the buoy to ourselves until we where ready to leave. We head back in and put out the lures and setup our troll around the rock and the group. On the first pass past the Group he had a strike and the shotgun is screaming off. By the time we got most of the lines in the Fish had dropped off. The strike indicators on the skirt showed some awesome teeth marks. Head back in after a a slow a couple of hours on the troll for an early finish.

last time we got them on slugs and plastics, this time we got the first on a plastic but than we had to cube to catch them,

yeah mate the first was on a pink zman. You could not see the fish like last time.
