Good work @natang - I've been too busy with work to remember to put this up. I'll start a separate thread and put your predictions in. Going to have to catch up on off-season news (actually involving a football ....) and form an opinion myself ...

Wow that was a good game to start the round off. I cant believe that Brisbane was so dominant. The final scoreline of Brisbane 120 to Melbourne -24 was really indicative of the match...

Drop Bear... Drop Bear... its time to go to school...

ROUND 1

Storm 22 v 12 Broncos

The Storm and Bellamy keep on keeping on

Knights 14 v 8 Sharks

only clear knowledge gained out of this game... The Sharks have lost 9 out of their last 10 Seasons, round 1 games

Roosters 16 v 26 Rabbitohs

Bennett has taken over an already upwardly moving 2018 top 4 team.

Warriors 40 v 6 Bulldogs

Will Dean Pay be the first coaching scalp in 2019... or the only one?

Tigers 20 v 6 Sea Eagles

Manly fans are already asking the question... is Dessy ‘The Man’ for the job?

Cowboys 24 v 12 Dragons

How good is Jason Taumalolo

Panthers 12 v 20 Eels

The Eels won

  Titans 0 v 21 Raiders

The NRL should hold a minute`s silence before each round 2 match in sympathy for the Titan`s fans.

Bit harsh on the poor old Titans there Gad. Missing their two halves and all.
Their forwards certainly lost the battle against Papali and Co.

This game was a bit like some of the other games this weekend. Hard to get anything out of them because the conditions were so poor. Hard to win a game without halves and both teams looked pretty ordinary. Storm and Rabbits were definitely the standout teams this weekend.

yes I some what agree... but my memory seems to recall, even in the not so distant years when they had a strong roster, injury put paid to fan expectations in those times too

Round 2

Thursday March 21, 2019

Dragons 18 v 34 Rabbitohs

Bunnies were expected to win this game... Bunnies did win the game.

 Friday March 22

Raiders 10 v 22 Storm

The Storm kept on keeping on.

 Broncos 29 v 10 Cowboys

Big effort by the younger Bronco pack, Tevita Pangai Junior’s effort was among the highlights of this match. How they back up against the Dragons and then Roosters in their next 2 games, will tell a lot.

  Saturday March 23, 2019

Sharks 20 v 6 Titans

Sharks defence ensured them the 2 points. Titans had the benefit of more ‘ball in hand possession’ try scoring opportunities and a favourable 14-5 penalty count, and only converted these into 1 try.

Knights 14 v 16 Panthers

Panthers won... after round 2 neither of these teams are inspiring their fans to over excitement of finals glory.

 Sea Eagles 18 v 26 Roosters

Manly fans should be happy with that score line.... against a Cronk and Friend less Roosters team that was at one stage down to one man on the bench.

Sunday March 24, 2019

Bulldogs 16 v 36 Eels

Dawwgs gaawwn

Tigers 34 v 6 Warriors

Tigerland is ecstatic, Top of the Ladder... 2019 Grand Final Glory in sight!

You're worse than me.
Lovin' it while it lasts. We've got a pretty easy start to the season.

How good are we looking this year! Benji and Robbie playing some really good footy at present! Hope it keeps up! Bloody Dragons need to play Dufty at fullback from the beginning of game!
