Change of plans we are not going to Hervey Bay now.

Have very little fish in the freezer so heading to the Barwon Banks on Saturday to find a feed.

Will post a report sometime over the weekend.

Sometimes I just want to catch some fish and this is one of those times.

Went for a fish last Friday and tides were so small. I didn't expect much and that's exactly what we got.

It looks better Saturday, even with  chance of storms in the afternoon.

Will be a big day, picking deckies up at 4.30am and probably won't be back till dark.

I meant to mention in the last post that @Drop Bear and I were sorting through all the amazing prizes for this weekend’s Wynnum Classic and the packs from Gobblers are sensational. I know you are a Gobblers fisho so thought you might like to know how generous they have been.

Thanks, I knew about it because I suggested it last year to the owner and he is continuing it on. I think there is 96 lures in each kit. The detail in them is amazing and they change colour in different lights.

I expect this competition will grow very quickly.

Actually, it has been easy to get great ones from this forum. It's just a matter of if they can put up with my crap dad jokes and banter i dish out.
