camping at the pin

went camping down at the pin for the long weekend.it was like the booval fair carpark on disability pension day

thank god it was not actually a fishing trip with all that trafic, though we did fish and ate what we caught, it was more a drinking and relaxing trip.

we got down there mid arvo friday with a slight breeze and set up camp had a fish off the bank, got heaps of just legal bream(all released)and very inebrieated got up early and went for a fish.but a wild wind came up and chased us back to camp,but the camp wasn't there

when you are camping you should not drink so much you pass out and forget to reset your anchor for the outgoing tide

had to slog through the mud and drop the bungs at the bottom of the tide befor pushing it off the mud

LOL... PIC 1.. I saw them two guys flicking plastics at potts point early Sunday morning. Ohhh and the boat traffic, we saw that Sunday arvo too lol :laugh: :S

it curved up and nearly bit him was hilarious

shark was released unharmed

PS I've done a similar thing with the tide in my boat. No problem as long as you have something to fill in the time haha;)

didnt get one mate the cdamera was one of the last things we found while packing up the wreckage

she even rigs and baits her own line

and releases her own fish

a rare gem

about 9 hours relaxed by then brian
