Whats this worth

Hi guys im interested in buying a boat its a 3.9 stacer seasprite 1986 with a 25hp Johnson Outboard same year. Includes oars, safety gear, 25l fuel tank + 10l spare, seat cushions and carpeted floor, No sounder or Gps.

Just wondering what you guys think its worth? Thanks

Is it on a trailer does it have lights.

If yes and everything is in exceptional nic. About 2K

Yes the trailers in really good nick and the whole package is great, the motor runs perfectly and has just had a service. It has nav lights yes.

I'd say its worth about $300 and I'll buy it

With a 20 year old motor the value is in the hull and trailer.Have you seen the service report? Was it done by mechanic ? If the leg has not been off for a couple of years you could have problems when an impeller replacement is needed.

If the owner has service records going back for a few years it should be ok as those old omc motors just keep on going.

Any rust in trailer. Springs and axle easily replaced just check for rist in crossmembers and frame.

Private sale I would be offering around $1500 unless outfit is in really mint condition.

A couple of weeks a similar sized rig with a near new trailer and a near new tohatsu was for sale on ausfish by a seller called poodroo for $2500 and he couldnt even get an offer. May be worth having a look .

I'd go low, it certainly is a buyers market out there at the moment. Everywhere I look there are boats for sale and no bastard wants to buy them, especially mine.

Good call Wayne. I say offer $1000 for boay and trailer, tell him to keep the motor and buy a new one. Smelly old motors are worth $2 at the moment. You wont get parts or service soon.

why no service or parts brian ive found ive allways been able to source parts for outboards that should have been shot years ago
