hi my name is Dylan, i new to this site. I fish at the pin for flathead and Bream. My biggest flathead was a 89 cm 6kg. I also have only just got into yak fishing with my uncle and cousin and i am now targeting bass at wivenhoe and brissy river.

My backyard backs on to oxley creek and im only just starting to fish it. I've only caught a few small bream(25-30cm)so far.

On friday me and family are planning to go to barra park and i hope to catch my first barra.

Good luck at Oxley creek.

There have been some good sharks, flathead and salmon caught from there by members of this site.

Alot of people on AFO share your interests in fishing the pin so you'll find a multitude of tips and advice available on this site. But by the sounds of it, you don't need it:lol: (89cm is a huge Flattie:woohoo:)

cheers mate but ill probly only catch flattie and bream cause it's up against the mangroves. wont be able to cast out of them =(

Mate I dont think you would need to cast out far at all. The creek is not huge and threaddies come right into the shallows to smash prawns.

I went to brissy river at 11 am to about 3:30 with bommie and big al. it was a bad day i think i nearly got a mullet as i was winding my lure in something came up with it but tomorra ill be going to barra park hope to catch something:P
