Lee and I are up to borumba on friday.

I'm keen to bag a toga We'll be there from sun up to sun down. anyone is welcome to join us.

Although, this time I thought I'd better ask.

Does anyone have any tips for saratoga, like when where how

we dropped a couple of toga so will be trying those techniques again, but just wondering how others do it.

use really sharp hooks and set them well, they have really bony mouths and hookup rates are fairly low due to this.

I know why we dropped toga, I don't think it was due to that though

I probably shouldn't say "dropped". I think Lee's hit and also broke a blade off his spinner and mine were due to not having a stinger on the buzz baits.

But just wondering where, like surface lures in amongst the sticks or around the edges on dusk/dawn divers during the day in amongst the sticks or around edges etc again.. ?

in borumba most of the time youll find them cruising the shallow water against the banks right up the back of the arms, and if you can find a nice shady bank during the day your chances pretty much double. but i have seen them cruising the timber in the open water early in the morning
