Kevin - My personal policy is I wont pay more than 50% of new price for 2nd hand gear. Not worth it. buying 2nd hand means no warranty, and no idea of the history of an item. Less than 50% its worth the risk.

Nor do I factor in options unless they are options I really really want!

second hand has to be a buyers market as you only get rid of sone thing when it is needed or need to up grade to you hints the price if this is no good to the seller beter of keeping it
