Speargun borrow/hire for May 20th

Hi,

Does anyone know where I might borrow/hire a speargun for a photoshoot at Southbank TAFE on Tuesday 20th May? I am trying to recreate this shot in a studio and don't even want to get the gun wet. There is an outside chance that I may repeat the photo at the beach on Saturday 24th May. I don't really want to buy a gun becasue I will never use it again - a speargun that looked good but didn't actually work would do just as well.

I work in Brisbane CBD - any idea where I might find one for a day or so? (I have the model, I have the studio, have the bikini, just short one gun.) Oh, and I need an octopus by then too.

Just make an order with Sammies girl or gambaros i reckon.

There are actually not a lot of spear fishermen on the site. But i reckon someone will havea relic somewhere. On that note my dad was a maniac with the spear fishing in his day. Ill ask if he still has his gun.

Ta. That's Mooloolaba beach below the lighthouse at about 5:30a.m. (best time to catch octopus hunters)
