Went fishing on friday , to the 50,s off the goldcoast....First drop with a yakka livey...2 minutes to the bottom , then bang . i'm on woo hoo. Nice amberjack ...First blood to me . Then i nailed about 6 undersize snapper. Then another livey was put down,with great anticipation . Then BANG this time it was BIG . After a 30 minute tug of war a 15 kilo plus amberjack was floating on the surface.Boy was i beat , but happy , just as it was to be gaffed a 12 foot tiger shark decided that this fish belonged to him ...not me..As u can see in the pic it didn't leave much...fish above the head went 8 kg's...
