kick ass trip at wivenhoe

hey guys well i went to wivenhoe on sunday by my self unfortunately i had no one to take any pic but the fishing was grate i got 37 bass all up smallest was 47cm to the fork biggest was 52cm to the fork and i got 6 of them on the fly rod i got most of them on a TN60 and on the fly i was useing a clouser that looked like a boney bream. So all up it was a grate trip

Well done sounds like a ripper of a session, hope to get up there before the weekend, What general area were you in and did you find a good school or were you fishing the edges.

cool colour Luke, very similar to aussie purple shad, except that one is see through.

i put in at the sailing club ramp and i found 1 really good school about 400m strate out from a ramp

ture i was going to try to get back up there this weekend but its going to be blowing 25 knots so i dont know if i will now

STU: I'm not sure how often schools move around though, they could be schooling up above some form of structure and thus remain there for a sense of knowing where they are.

I'm sure someone with a good amount of knowledge and experience could say something extra.

so it's possible that if you go next week they'll still be there for you:) I think at Baroon, they usually school up in relatively the same area.... Lee could probably say more to this regard:)
