hey,

what is the best fish you have ever caught?

saltwater or fresh.

mine is probly and 89.5cm flattie and 6kg it twas at the pin.

Freshwater Either my 58cm Bass or my 58cm Mary River Cod or my 58cm Yellowbelly

Saltwater: Alot to choose from but lests say my snapper going 6kg.

1.6kg australian salmon caught in sydney and a 49.cm yellowbelly caught in canberra.

it was not me but my dad he caught two spanish mac off the beach at amity point one was about 3.5 foot the other one he only got the head back but the eyes were bigger than a fiftycent peice shark got threst the next day he put a hole mullet on and caught a 6.5foot bronze whaller all on the trusty 11 foot wilson surf rod and 6 intch alvey 40 pound snidder line.

Can't really think of the best. I've gotten heaps of big fish offshore trolling big lures and fishing big baits. But most of my cast and retrieve lure captures in estuaries seem to mean more to me.

strangely - a 51cm sand whiting off the beach at teewah.

they are probably my most memorable... there have been many more catches, those stand out the most.

Nice yellow pearl and mick:) .I went out at manly last night with big al's boat.HE GOT LOST!!!! it wasn't and pleasnt night... but i caught my first type of shark was a fighter. not sure what it was (think gubbie) and it was 60 cm. only thing caught last night. I caught just in front of king Island. only fish caught that night and one of my favourites.
